I tried to upgrade to the new beta but it Jamstix still reads 1841. When I flip off the DEP switch for my host..cubase.. jamstix shows up in my vst instruments column under "jamstix files" but Jamstix does not load. How do I go about reinstalling Jamstix so I can try the new beta.

It sounds as if you have multiple jamstix.dll files on your system. Run the updater again and note the location that is shows at the end as the place that was updated. Now check the Jamstix location that Cubase knows about and if they are different, manually replace the jamstix.dll in that location with the Beta DLL.

It's probably because the new beta "jamstix.dll" has been placed in the Jamstix folder, rather than the VST Folder.

If you are familiar with copying and pasting, the easiest way, is to copy the latest "dll" to the VST folder.

If you are not sure, come back here.

yes that was the problem... It is now loading fine. Thank you for the help.
