microtonic uses c1-g1 for it's drum parts. i have a program with several sounds loaded in the micro multi out and the only thing i can get is the bass drum. i don't understand how the mapping page works. the dropdowm list has names that don't go with the microtonic. help!
i'm obviously lost with the jamstix manual.
thx for your patience! |

- set Jamstix to 'Manual Jam'
- make sure 'Map GM input' is unchecked in the mapping tab.
- load Microtonic and its bank into Jamstix
- hit a Microtonic sound on the keyboard
- select the corresponding sound in the Jamstix sound list
- click the keyboard icon next to the 'Key' list. The key should change to reflect the key you pressed.
- repeat the last three items for each sound of your micro kit
- hit 'Save' in the mapping tab to save your mapping _________________ Ralph Zeuner

i followed all the above.
the sound list has "chimes (fast)" "chimes (slow)" "china a" etc
these sounds do not correspond to any on the microtonic and those names don't change no matter what program i load into the microtonic. |

If you don't have 'Chimes' in the uTonic then just ignore those sounds. Keep going in the sound list and make sure the sounds you DO have (like kick, snare, hihat) are properly assigned. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
