curious to know if there is a way to place the crash on the 16th before or 16th after like the kick and snare? if not does anyone have any suggestions? I use jamstix with bfd. thanks...

You'll be able to do that in Jamstix 2. For now you need to export or record the MIDI and then add the cymbals manually in the host.
