I was curious to know if someone could help me out cause I've been trying to figure this out for the past couple hours but no luck. I'm using jamstix with bfd sounds and I wanted to know if I could somehow use cubase to record the individual pieces into separate tracks in cubase? If thats not possible (though from reading the manualsit seems it is), does anyone have other suggestions? Thanks.

Use the appropriate BFD DLL (Group, All or Ultra) and you will get drum separation across multiple outputs. The standard BFD DLL is only stereo.

Many hosts (incl. Cubase) do not record VSTi audio output like audio tracks. You have to use 'bounce' or 'freeze' to achieve that.

Note that in many hosts you have to put a dummy note or controller at the start and end of the song into the Jamstix MIDI track to get a proper bouncing or freezing because these hosts erroneously think there is nothing to freeze when the Jamstix MIDI track is empty.
