i've been using Jamstix again after a long layoff and i'm not very smart with music software...
playing just Cusbase, my audio files (recorded guitar) seem fine and if there is noise, it must be very, very low.
when i get the audioM8 going to my track crackles and noise happen. with Jamstix full-on running it's there just as bad if not worse.
any suggestions? i've got Cubase 1.0 and my CPU is around 2.5 whatever the unit speed is and i've got 2 gigs of ram and 2 80-GB hard drives. nothing else is running on my CPU so i doubt processing power is the problem. i forget the name of my audio card; might be a midiman or something. if need be i can check.
anyways, i don't remember this much noise when i was running Jamstix about a year ago (CPU in storage for a long while).
thanks.

If you are getting crackles when only audioM8 is loaded (without Jamstix) then you have a driver issue and need to check your ASIO settings.
If you get crackles with Jamstix, I recommend checking ASIO settings and using the latest Jamstix Beta availabe here:

which has reduced audio CPU usage. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
