Just released Beta 1833 which should fix all 'freeze' during or after sample load issues. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I have a problem with Jamstix Beta 1833 and Podium v1.60.
If I try to do an offline render of the jamstix track the system will feeze at the completion of the render. The only way to clear the problem is to restart the system.
The real time render works fine and offline render seems to work fine on audio tracks.
If I uncheck "Unload plugins when bounce is activated" it works fine and do an offline render it works fine.
The problem does not exist with other instruments. _________________ darcyb62 |

Hi Ralph
Just had a quick test with 1833 in Cubase VST32/5.
Don't get error message, but the small Jamstix sample loading window, is just a small white strip, but you do see the text of the samples etc loading in that strip.
I get the same white strip, when loading a new map once Cubase/Jamstix is running.
The Cubase logo which shows when first starting VST32 goes blank also since 1833. If that gives you any clue?
I hope i've explained clearly

| Same here using FLS v6.08 and Tracktion 2.1.0.11. Other than that, all seems to work ok. |

The white strip in Beta 1833 is a replacement for the standard status window in earlier versions. We traced most of the 'sound load freeze' issues to that window, which some hosts appear to have trouble with under certain circumstances. The white strip is a 'minimal impact' replacement, which isn't pretty but works. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

We have located a problem that can occur when loading old JS projects into Beta 1819 or later, leading to high CPU usage and crackle/pop artefacts.
The just released Beta 1836 fixes this problem.
Thanks to Gezzer for being a very patient 'tester victim' on this one! _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Ah glad it's fixed, wasn't sure it was Jamstix or Reaper that caused this |

It was Jamstix, so don't fear the Reaper. _________________ cheers

Thanks, Darcy.
This was actually a problem with Jamstix and HALion in Podium and had to do with the way Podium unloads plugins. Frits from Zynewave contacted us and did his utmost to get this one squashed. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

That's look to be a nice update!
Very happy about that one:«clicking 'Free Jam' no longer clears the current arrangement»!
Thanks Ralph!
