Hello, all. I am new to this forum, having fornd it as a link from one of my favorite hangouts, www.acousticguitarforum.com. I am primarily a guitarist, but I have keyboards, a Roland TD-12S drum set, and I also play bass. My main recording platforms are the PC (Sonar 3) and a Roland VS-2480.
I am really intrigued by this program, given the "Jam" feature. It would be great to have a drum grogram which follows my guitar playing and creates variations unlike a drum machine. The other recording program that I like to use is Acid Pro 6. Please explain why I would want to use Jamstix over Acid Pro 6? I have tons of drum files for Acid that sound great. But of course, I must first "paint" the clips onto the screen, add fills, etc. etc. Does this software really act like a "vitual drummer?" Thanks for any input you can give.

Yes, it does.
But why don't you give the demo a try and reassure yourself?
I think you'll be pleasantly surprised.

| I'll download it and try it tonight. However, is it true that I may have difficulty using it with Sonar 3? |

The demo should work fine with Sonar 3. If you do have any problems or questions we'll be here to help. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
