hi Ralph!

whenever i change the character setting to latinize, and then return to any other character setting, jamstix does not re-mute all the percussion parts... have noticed this before but for some reason thought it had been fixed; have just midi-automated jamstix thru phrazor and was playing with character settings on a slider... even when i midi-CC control the "mute percussion" it doesnt work!

love the latinize character but only for a few bars at a time Razz
hope u can help!

Switching the character away from 'Latinize' manually does mute the percussion. If it's done via VST automation the muting does not happen but can be done via the 'Mute Percussion' parameter. Make sure the character is not 'Latinize' when the 'Mute Percussion' is set.

Just tested it here and it works fine for me. Please try Beta 1836.

Zauni,
is it possible to let the 8th shuffle mode override the Normal and Agressive settings? So when I switch from Normal to Agressive and back JS stays in 8th shuffle mode?

finally had a chance to play around and i'm still getting percussion sounds even with "mute percussion" set... seems to be handclaps with the 16th shuffle character and jam blocks and cowbells with the normal and aggressive settings.

am ok with abandoning character automation but am worried that if i use envelopes then the same things is gonna happen. havent had time to test this yet tho, and would prefer to be able to use automation, percussion for me is something where i need the right amount at the right time Very Happy

any ideas?
