Hi Ralph -

On Windows XP SP2, while upgrading from 1.5, I got the following message:

"There were update errors. The application may not function properly".

A few moments later: "Upgrade of ... complete!"

So I ran Cubase SX3, when I opened VST instruments to load Jamstix, for some reason it asked me if I wanted to load my snare, brush, and drum packs again (they had been loaded already).

I said yes, and when JS opened, I checked the version - "1.5".

Where did I go wrong? Embarassed

Thanks -

Please send me the rzdlog.txt file from your Jamstix folder and search your system for all occurrences of jamstix.dll. I am suspecting multiple instances/folders.

Hi Ralph - Thanks for answering. Here's the answers to your questions:

1) I only have one jamstix.dll file - it's in C:\program files\Steinberg\Vstplugins\jamstix

2) I have 3 rzdlog.txt files Crying or Very sad . I've called them "A", "B", and "C", they are copied below, along with the names of their respective folders.

Text file "A" was sent as a private message, it was WAY too long for the forum, I'm sorry but I couldn't find an "attach file" option. If there is one I missed, please let me know, and I'll resend if you like.

Text files "B" and "C" are below, each from different folders. They look identical, actually ...

I hope this helps in troubleshooting. What do you think my next step should be?

THANKS!! Alexis

EDITED - later sent as email attachments, duh, sorry for the hassle ...

TEXT FILE "A": Found in C:|Program Files\Steinberg\VST Plugins\Jamstix

TEXT FILE "B" : Found in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase SX3\VST Plugins\Jamstix

TEXT FILE "C" : Found in C:\Program Files\Steinberg\Cubase SX3\VST Plugins\Jamstix\jamstix
