I was using audio-in (playing guitar) to trigger Free Jam last night. Very cool. Unfortunately, only 3 of my samples within BFD were being triggered (kick, snare and cymbal 1). I tried to then change the mapping within Jamstix to have correspondence between Jamstix and BFD, but it did not fix the problem. Do I need to fix the mapping within BFD or Jamstix (or within Cubase SX3 drum map editor). How do others match up their programs? How are others setting things up? I also use Trigger Finger, Reason 3 Drum Kits and Kontakt 2.
Any guidance would be helpful. |

Please go to the mapping tab and load the mapping 'BFD 1'. Tell me if that triggers correctly.

I tried some of the BFD presets (the BFD All) and it activated nearly all the samples on page 1.
Any way to have page 2 BFD samples (the extra samples you can load on the 2nd tab) to work in the free jam?
If one is going to make changes in mapping when BFD is used concurrently with Jamstix, is it better to make mapping changes in the Jamstix preset or change the BFD mapping preset to match the Jamstix samples?

Jamstix sends whatever key is selected for a given sound to the hosted VSTi. So just make sure that the keys in JS match the keys of the sounds on the 2nd BFD page.

Either way works but I would adjust the keys in BFD to match JS if possible.
