Hi Ralph
Am using Scarbee Imperial Drums XL (SID)and wish to take advantage of the LR Samples available.
I use the Midi out feature of JS and load SID as a separate VSTi in Cubase SX - so far so good
I have tried loading the DFHS map and changing the key tab to match SIDs mapping - this works fine.Ive tested the mapping by recording the Midi out straight into Cubase. SID maps the L Snare Hits to D1[38] and the R Snare hits to E1[40]
However my problem is that the Snare R hits always show up as mapped to E0[28] - I've entered LRSnare=[40] in Jamstix.ini but these alternative snare hits still go to E0[28].
Is it possible for me to use the DFHS mapping together with amendments to the JS.ini file to take advantage of SID LR hits?
Is there something I can add to JS.ini to force these R hits to map where I want them to go.
Hope you can help
PS Jamstix just gets better and better - Can't wait for JS2 |

LRSnare=40 should do the trick. Please send me your jamstix.ini with that setting so I can double-check everything. Send it to support[at]rayzoon.com _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Many Thanks Ralph - Jamstix.ini on its way to you now.
Orinally incuded the square brackets around the key note number but tried it without and there was no difference

I've sent you a modified ini file back. You forgot to put the LR commands in their own [Extra Sounds] section. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hello!
Guys, I use Scarbee Imperial Drums (S.I.D.), hosted by Halion Player 3.1
I work in Cubase SX3.
And I think I have a problem that's similar to what you discussed here.
How shall I configure the .ini file?
Can you help me with that? |

To StudioLodge:
I am sorry, I just forgot to mention the RDM mapping file. I am not sure - do I need this one too to make things work?
Thanx |

I'd like to have these details and mappings, too! Is there a way to put them on the download page?

Sure thing. If Studiolodge sends them to me, I'll put it up. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
