I just updated from cubase LE to SE3. I never had a problem with jamstix in LE but for some reason it does not even load in SE3. Any ideas or suggestions on what the trouble might be?

What exactly happens when you try to load Jamstix? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Jamstix dosent't load at all....Cubase has it listed in the plugins folder but it say that jamstix and audioM8 are not loadable along with a couple or rewire applications. Jamstix is installed in the same folder as before the upgrade and everything transferred after the upgrade but not jamstix. Any suggestions?

Reboot the machine and then manually set the flag for Jamstix in the list to make it load Jamstix again.
Cubase has the habit of setting a plugin to 'unloadable' whenever a load process failed. You must manually force it to reload. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks for the quick response. Still no luck however. Perhaps I am not telling cubase how to reload correctly. When you say to flag it to reload what exactly are you saying. I checked jamstix in the vst plugins folder and applied but still no change......????

I mean clicking on the first box in the Jamstix row in the 'Plugin Devices' list so the box is checked.
Before you do that, please rename your current Jamstix DLL to 'jamstix.dll.old' and then use the latest beta DLL from here:

Now click Jamstix as described above to cause a reload and restart Cubase. Let me know if it still shows up unloadable. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I did try what you suggested but the problem still persists....jamstix shows up as unloadable. I checked the vst plugs in Cubase but when I restart cubase and take a look jamstix is no longer checked...Any other ideas on what I might try?...

Everyone: this has been fixed via e-mail exchange. The issues was caused by incorrect DEP settings. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
