I'm not sure if there's a thread I should be using to contribute ideas, or whether it's okay to start my own- sorry if I should have put this somewhere else.

I also apologise if this idea has been proposed before. I have the horrible feeling it must have been!

What I was thinking was it'd be nice to be able to apply the drummer character to individual bars/sections of the song in the arranger. For example, at its most basic, to have an agressive chorus but a normal verse. Maybe to be able to right-click bars in the arranger and have a character menu where you can tick next to agressive, normal, latin, etc.

Thanks for your suggestion!

You can actually do this already by using the 'Character' VST automation parameter and shaping the envelope in the host so that the desired character is active for specific sections of the song.
