|
|
I have a rather busy project which was giving my DAW a hard time last night so I froze a few instruments (in Cubase SL2.2) including Jamstix. When I later reloaded the project I noticed all the Jamstix samples loading which I presume shouldn't happen?
Any ideas
Thanks, |

Have you also removed Jamstix from the VST instruments rack?
If not, Jamstix will load, no matter if the JS track is frozen or not.
Your CPU load should be lower though anyway. |

Some DAWs have the option of disabling the plugin when you freeze the track its on. I'm not sure about Cubase but I know that Podium manages this quite well. _________________ darcyb62 |

Thanks guys, I've checked again and it's not a Jamstix specific thing - it seems that Cubase (or at least, my version) loads all VST instruments/samples regardless of the "Freeze" status. I'll check the documentation to see if there's an option such as the one darcyb suggests.
