I would love to see a bar over the Arrangement as well....great idea.
Possibly it could pull the info from Sonar or what ever other program uses flags to label verses/choruses etc....
That would save a lot of flopping back and forth when laying the song out and trying to put accents on certain bars.
OOPS...should have read greg's reply first...... _________________ Marcus2323

Unfortunately there is no interface for plugins to read such data from the host. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

How about somehow using the marker track in cubase sx3 as a guider?-might be a crap idea though ----If people typed in V1, V2,V3, or v4 the drums would play progressivally harder and add complexetey as default , which the user could tweak. Then typing in Chorus1, Chorus 2 etc , the drum style would slightly change to cater for chorus sections. For arrangments, you could select the type of song structure----eg. Rock(ballad) , and the fills would always only occur on the typical places found in commercial popular music..... I know----Im going off on 1.
So how will the new feature work---? |

All a plugin can 'see' from the host is what the VST interface provides. That does not include markers or any other features of Cubase or other hosts. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
