Day One Newbie problem here:
I'm running in SX3 in Free Jam mode, and I can't hear the default kits, though the Load Narrative Box says they've loaded
If I then go to Mapping/Load and load the add-on kits eg drumpak1, drumpak2, snares, epak, I can hear everything - as it should.
The Quick Preview also works
But when I try to load any of the default Jamstix Kits, they won't load. Neither does Preview work. The narrative box says they've loaded.
But Jamstix runs silent
Now, the strange thing is that when I click Mapping/Random, there's some more loading and then Jamstix plays.
How do I get my default kits to play?
I've tried completely unloading Jamstix from Cubase and reloading it, but it makes
thanx = kev |

Sounds as if you didn't install the default sounds (jamstix_data_setup.exe 210MB). Look in the 'samples' folder and if you don't see the file 'Chimes Fast _a01.rzd' then download and run the abovementioned file as per your delivery instructions. Make sure you tell the installer the exact same path as you did for the plugin install. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Thanks Ralph
As you surmised, I'd installed the default kit on another folder.
I've now moved the samples and everything is well.
Thanx for the prompt response |
