Sorry if this is in the manual. I read the manual and did a search on the forum before posting but did not find the answer to my question. I want to store the drum samples on a different hard drive other than where I installed jamstyx in my Cubase SX VST folder because I feel it helps my system run more effeciently having my software on one HD, my samples and loops on another, and record my audio to another. Can someone tell me if I can do this and if so how. Following is an explanation of how I have my hard drives setup. I partition one 40 gig drive into C: for operating system, D: for audio software, E: for Computer software. Then on another 80 gig drive I install all my samples and loops, and then use two 80 gig drives striped together to make one faster 160 gig drive I record my audio too. And then have 3 120 gig IDE drives in removable bays to back up all my recordings to. Any help would be greatly appreciatted, but please do not put your time to help my question before a more critical question someone else may be having to where they cannot even use Jamstyx at the moment on their system, since Jamstyx is working on my system as is, I would just like to if possible set it up the way I described.

May God Bless Your Day,
Russell

right after posting this question I saw Peter had asked the same question just a little earlier and read your answer you gave him, which is what I needed to know. Thanks for answering my question through another post, just sorry I did not see it before clogging the forum with a duplicated question.

May God Bless Your Day,
Russell

Russell, I moved my entire Jamstix folder from my Cubase VST plugins folder to a new external hard drive. After re-pointing Cubase to the right place it all worked find BUT, I now have a problem upgrading to JS 1.6 (see my recent post on the support forum). The advice is NOT to move the .dll files but just the samples and it looks like I'm paying the price for getting this wrong so beware . . . .
