Hi Folks!

I'm coming more from a traditional drum kit recording/mixing view in the question.

Is there going to be a possibiliy to have more than 4 outputs in Cubase SX with Jamsticks? I'd love to map out the each drum to a fader (ie: kick, snare, tom hi, tom mid, tom low, OH).

Or is this already possible?

thanks!

Allready possible. Look in the mapping tab, on the right side is a number wich tells you how many outputs Jamstix uses. Click on the litlle up arrow to increase the number of outputs (17 is max).
Then look on the left side: Select the Kick for example and than look for the output slider. You can use this to select the output number for the Kick. Do the same with every other piece you want to have it's own output. Than you'll have to hit the F11 button in Cubase and load Jamstix again as an VST instrument. And voila all the outputs you want.

Awesome!!

Thanks! I knew about the output range and selection box, but didn't know I had to re-load Jamstix.

Perfect!

You may also want to look here:

Under "Mappings" you will find some mappings that I created that do exactly what you want. They have 7 Stereo Outs for the different drum instruments.
