Ralph,

DirectXer is used for Midi out for Sonar? I know the Sonar wrapper works ok with Jamstix but will be using midi as well. Will I need it? Please let me know as I am looking at purchasing it now with the brushpak and Drumpak #2. Thanks Bud! Hope your Christmas was great and the New Year is a whole lot better.

Hi Dieszel! DirectiXer is only needed if you want to record the MIDI output of Jamstix in Sonar, which the CW wrapper does not support. The alternative is to use the 'Export To MIDI' button in the arranger to save the performance to a MID file and then import that into Sonar.

So it all depends on your workflow. Many people never need the MIDI output at all as they either use the internal sounds or load external VSTi into Jamstix or use the export function.

Thanks Ralph. I'll do that. If I find I need the midi out, I'll look at getting DirectiXer. Gonna purchase Drumpak #2 and BrushPak now and look forward to Jambace when it comes out as well...
