hi, first of all, just noticed about jamcussion, i think that's awesome, until now i pretty much thought that as much music u can do on the computer, something like a great percussion track would have to be done live, but I'm sure in the same spirit of Jamstix it will revolutionize computer-programmed percussion tracks-- (on a side note, i recently worked with a studio drummer who is very exact in his timing and precision, and it's funny, i get more variation and believability with jamstix than him i think, not that he's not great, just it's almost too exact like a drum machine)
my question is the fills selection seems to change based on funkiness/complexity levels and rhythm selection--but sometimes i want a certain fill and it's not there-- is there a way that we can have all the possible selections available and decide for ourselves if it fits within the particular musical context? (otherwise i have to like search for it and change some settings till i find it, and with all the rhythm names, sometimes i'm not even sure what it's called) |

We've got a completely new concept for the rhythm programming in Jamcussion that has us very excited and may even work its way into JS2....more on this next year as we implement Jamcussion.

Jamstix 2 will replace the filtering with a keyword selection process so you can always manually place any fill you like. For now, please add the line:
NoAccentFiltering=1
to the [General] section of your jamstix.ini to disable the filtering so you can select any fill you like. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
