so, the swing characters, is that the same as highlighting the shuffle 8th and 16ths, or does the character do more than just that ???

- goes into 8th shuffle
- replaces hats with ride
- suppress snare and kicks on all quarters and eights except the downbeat

does that mean it is different from just highlighting the 8th or 16th shuffle button, then. are those things you have listed are extra to what the buttons do by themselves??

Yes, they are extra from what the shuffle button by itself does. That's why we made it a character. A character is like a filter that does various things to 'slant' any given rhythm. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
