Hello,

I'm on the 4.5.0 Beta version and I thought I would explore the rudiments feature.

When I load a Rudiments module (into the Silent style with the Silent drummer), it at first works as expected. A "LRll RLrr" rudiment is played with the "KHSS SKHH" sounds. I adjust the settings so that the rudiment plays once at the beginning of each bar.

I can right click the Rudiment input and select one of the rudiment presets, and it changes the hit pattern as expected. However, I can not change the Sounds input. If, for example, I change "SSSS HHHH" and hit recompose, Jamstix just plays the same.

Are you guys also seeing this? Am I missing something?

Kind regards

Another thing that isn't working as expected:

If I change the Speed parameter to 32nd I would expect the rudiment to be played at double speed. However, Jamstix in stead plays essentially the same thing, with the exception that each hit now is a double hit.

Can that be right?

Hi Sly_85,
Granted, I have not used the Rudiment feature much but I just checked it out and everything seems to be working properly for me. The Rudiment recomposes properly when I change the "Sounds" entry correctly. Do you have "Full" enabled so everything recomposes automatically?

Regarding your 2nd post concerning the Rudiment "Speed" parameter, that actually is referring to resolution of the drum hits, not Tempo and appears to be functioning properly also.
