|
|
Hello,
Is there a way to move the libraries in the add-on folder to another part of my hard drive?
I ask this because all my applications are installed in a slower part of my partitioned drive. I have an other partition on the outher side of the drive that's double as fast.
I do experience audio gaps when i'm using Jamstix. I never have this with any other VST application, so i suspect slower disk access times.
Thanks in advance,
Fré
Running XP on 7200rpm drive
Centrino 1,5Ghz, 1, 2 Gb RAM

Are you using the full version or demo version of Jamstix? The demo version has intentional audio gaps.
Concerning the HD: you can move the entire Jamstix folder to another drive but it must be the whole folder. You can place copies of DLLs (jamstix.dll and audioM8.dll) wherever you'd like and they will all find the Jamstix folder or ask you for it if they can't find it.
I'd keep the number of DLL copies to a minimum though to simplify things at update time. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hello Zauni,
I'm working with the full version after using the demo with audio gaps.
I moved the entire folder and now the result is much better, altough i still have a one hickup in my song.
I will investigate this further.
I'm on 128 samples latency. I'll check if 192 cures it.
