I continue to have problems with jamstix overloading the CPU. I can not play jamstix with out major problems either with audio, MIDI or by it self.

After several bars it pegs the CPU and drops out.

jamstix 1.42
Sonar 5.01
3.4 Gh cpu
1 Gb RAM
SATA drives.

What resolution and sample frequency does your project use?

Also, please send me your rzdlog.txt file from the Jamstix folder to support @ rayzoon.com?

I had this problem too and moving the Jamstix folder to a different harddrive sorted it. You do need more than one harddrive to do this obviously Rolling Eyes but if you are recording audio you may have one for you audio files and one for your program files am I correct? if not its may be worthwhile investing in one as even if it doesn't cure this problem it should benefit you for audio. The other thing is to may sure is that you defrag regularly, non of this may have come as a revelation to you but I thought I suggest it just in case. If you are moving the folder remember to keep the 2 .dll files in your plugins folder, just drag them out of the Jamstix folder before you drag the jamstix folder into the other drive.
