Hi. Would I be right in thinking that a time signature change in the DAW mid-part gets ignored? In other words, do t/s changes have to coincide with a new part, in which you set the t/s to match?

Yes, the T/S changes have to correspond to the beginning of Jamstix' song parts. You can create a different length song part to compensate though.
