I am trying to create a new style from the default 30 rep verse. I want Simon to run the kicks when the song starts instead of whenever.

I have the player Double Kick selected from the player drop-down. and Double Bass active in the 'U-Pick' song/player options. Sometimes he starts with it but most times he doesn't come in until after several bars or later.

Simon I believe was part of the Metal Pak add-on. The Metal Pak manual is very sparse. Are there any tutorials for it?

When I choose Simon's Double Kick player preset with Double Bass activated it consistently generates double kick hits. Do you have "Every Bar" chosen in the Accent window?

I did have it set to "Every". I found that when I toggle any of the radio buttons in any Upick box. Simon will then play a number of reps before double kicks start.

I think the number of reps may vary depending on which box I do that in. I didn't do too much testing of that once figured it out.

Toggling any of the knobs in "Accents" resets "double kicks" so they will start from the top.
