|
|
Hi,
Exporting the MIDI by drag and drop crashed JS so I exported a MIDI file and ended up with this:

The Sysex track contins a text reference to Rayzoon (required?) and the song data has some odd-looking 'hits' before the song starts.
Where did they come from? Are they SysEx data? Can I get rid?
Thanks,
Duncan[/img] |

| Copy the Jamstix track to a new track and then delete the mystery midi events. If everything plays back normally than you can assume it's safe to get rid of them. I have no idea where they came from or what they actually are though. |

At first (in MIDI Playback mode) it played some slightly different sounds - percussion but not as I knew it. I think allowing playback to run over the SysEx and phantom notes might have sorted it out, but it's sounding right now.
I'll be doing this again soon, I suspect, so I'll post back.
Cheers,
Duncan |

| Nope, I don't think those mystery bit do anything at all! |

| Yeah, just judging by the appearance, that data doesn't even look like it is from the Jamstix midi item. |
