OK, I am a bit overwhelemed with Jamstix, too much good stuff in one application...

In any case, if I wanted to jam to something heavy (Marylin Manson, Nine Inch Nails, Rammstein or Rob Zombie style guitar), what settings would the more experienced users recommend? I'm lost.

Should I do a keyword jam to "heavy"? Is that correct?

I would experiment with various settings in free jam. Here are a few things I'd try:

- low funkiness, high complexity
- character setting 'aggressive'
- check double bass

I would also use a fair level of compression. You may want to split sounds over several outputs so you can compress kick and snare higher than the cymbals.
