I have two queries.

1. The 'Groove' bar view shows closed hi-hats but Jamstix plays open hi-hats. I checked the 'Accent' and 'Fill' views to ensure there is nothing there. What would I need to do so all instruments playing show on the Bar view?

2. A yellow coloured entry on the bar view shows a default cymbal crash. When I remove the instrument the box remains yellow. How would I remove that as a default entry to make it a normal entry as the rest of the bar.

I think I found the setting for my first query above regarding different sounds being played in some bars.

In the 'Groove' window with 'Pro view', I noticed the 'Power Hand' setting was set around mid-way to change to 'Open Hats'. I moved the 'Power Hand' slider to maximum and now the closed hats sound on playback.

I wonder if there is some setting somewhere where I can select a bar and opt to disable all automatic or altered effects for that bar so I can set entirely my own groove.

I'm finding for the vast majority of a song, Jamstix auto/default settings are perfect. It's just for a few bars here and there that I would like to be able to free totally for my own input whilst keeping all the rest.
