Hi,

I have a song that ends after the final verse with a slow rubato solo piano over approximately 4 bars.

I would like the drums to subtly wind down over this period of time at the ending.

When I construct that area as an ending in the song editor, the result is a few final hits at the beginning of the End section and then no more drums at all while the piano winds down.

Can anyone guide me about how I could get the drums to also "wind down" along with the piano in the context of a song ending?

Thanks!

You should use a different song part type other than "Ending" if you want the Drums to continue over the 4 bars. Try using a Drum Solo with an appropriate style and player. Is the Piano track MIDI or audio recorded to the grid?

OK, I will try that, thanks!

(The piano track is audio.)

Any suggestions for style/player that will softly wind down and wrap it up?

Not off the top of my head and I’m away from my homebase. It would depend a lot on the music itself also, obviously.
