I got a new computer so I'm moving all my music programs. Got to Jamstix and have a problem. I downloaded the installation file fresh and opened it. Got this screen:
Okay, can't paste screenshots here, I guess. It has a flashing bit that says "Click CONNECT to begin..." It has buttons for "Connect", "Start Installation", "Cancel" etc. At the bottom it says "Version 1.2.8 Rayzoon Technologies LLC [www.rayzoon.com].
So I click "Connect" and I get a new screen on top of it. It's called "Installation Options". I put the path to the external drive I want to use for the "Jamstix Data Folder". I left the "Interface Scale" at 130% (I figure I can change it later if needed). The box for '64-bit VSGT" is clicked, which is correct. Under there is a box to type with "Select Folder" under it. There's a default which is incorrect so I fixed it. The path now says, "C:\Program Files\Common Files\Steinberg\VstPlugins". I left the "64-bit AAX (Pro Tools) box and the "Install Beta Versions When Available" boxes unchecked.
At the bottom are the two choices "Cancel" and "OK". I clicked "OK". Nothing happens. I tried clicking "Cancel". Nothing happens. I can't close the box and I can't move on. I'm probably missing something obvious but I certainly can't figure out what it is.
Any ideas? I have a paid version of Jamstix. |
