I have a couple of Forgotten Keys software drum modules and I'm wondering the best way to set Jamstix up with them.
The Korg has a sound routing, per the manual as follows:
Bass C1
Rimshot C#1
Snare D1
Closed Hi Hat F#1
Low Tom A1
Open Hi Hat A#1
High Tom D2
Cymbal D#2
Cowbell G#2
High Conga D#3
Low Conga E3
Claves D#4

Should I try and adapt a kit, and if so what would be the best kit?
How would I start from scratch with an empty kit please?
Any advice appreciated. I loaded an empty kit but can't see where I can add individual pieces. Does JS have claves or an alternative?
Bear with my ignorance please.

Easiest way IMO would be to load the MIDI Out Template Kit in the @ Special Kits category, edit it to match the mapping for those modules and then save it with a recognizable name in the @ User Kits category. That looks like GM drum mapping.
Jamcussion has Claves in some Kits.

Thanks pal - yes the mapping is as close to GM as possible per the manual. It's a Kontakt instrument - not that that makes much difference probably.
