I would love to be able to edit a pattern in manual mode and add a crash or two when and where I want. It would be great to have check boxes like jamstix already has for the kick and snare but boxes also for crashes so I could place a crash easily in a pattern . Is there any chance this will be an option in future updates? I realize random crashes are now an option but I would love more control in that area.
Thanks again for your great product. As an edrummer for the last 8 years jamstix has given me the option of spending more time on my music and less time on getting the "perfect" drum performance.

Thanks for your kind words!

Jamstix has an expanded cymbal panel to place cymbals on quarters and eighths since Version 1.3. If that is insufficient for what you need to do, please elaborate.

I should have been more specific. I was refering to changing the cymbal sample. In other words have an 18 crash on the 1 and a splash on beat 3 for example. Many modern drummers use cymbals in creative ways. check out Carter Beafords work or any Dream Theater stuff.

If you right-click on a cymbal box, hold the button down and then drag left/right you can change the cymbal sound used. The color of the box will change and the status line will state the selected cymbal name.

Btw, Carter is the man. Incredible drumming!

Yep, we have our work cut out for us as far as the GUI is concerned in Jamstix 2...
