|
|
I've done multiple google searches, cakewalk forum searches, and rayzoon searches and can't seem to get the step by step instructions for setting up Jamstix 4 in Cakewalk to use Superior Drummer.
I could sure use some help. Most of the videos I've found use Jamstix 3 or earlier and setup is much different now, right?
HELP!?!?!?!? |

I don't use Cakewalk so I can't help you there. As far as Jamstix is concerned, ensure "Enable Midi Out" is enabled in Options, build your song using the "Midi Out Template" kit in the @Special Kits category or load that kit after you've built your song.
Now in the Kit window, you'll see 2 "buttons" at the top of the window labled "Jamstix". These are the midi mapping menus, Input mapping left, Output mapping right. Click the right mapping menu, choose Superior 3 from the list on the left and a kit layout that matches your SD kit on the right. Check the "Add Missing Pieces", "Remove Unmapped Pieces" and "Force Midi Output Only" checkboxes in the lower right corner.
That should cover what you need to do regarding Jamstix. Hopefully a Cakewalk user passing by can fill in the rest. |

Thanks for responding. I've done those steps in Jamstix, but can't seem to get Jamstix connected to SD. So, I hope a Cakewalk user can help me out... |
