If you are using Windows 7 and starting the Jamstix manager returns "Error sending data: (12175) A security error occurred", you are missing some updates for SSL/TLS handling in Windows 7. Here is the fix:

1. Go to the URL below, scroll to section "Easy Fix" and click the "Download" link.

The link is a secure page on Microsoft's site so there's no safety concern.

2. Run the downloaded file "MicrosoftEasyFix51044.msi" and let it install the fix.

If that does not fix it, install Microsoft KB3140245:
