Hello. I am a registered user of Jamstix 3, and had Jamstix 2 before that. I haven't visited the site in a while and was interested to see Jamstix 4 is now available. I'm thinking of upgrading. I have a couple of questions.

1) I see on the website there is an upgrade price. Thank you Jamstix for thinking of us.
2) My version of Jamstix 3 includes the AIpak and XLpak. The JS website say the upgrade will also upgrade existing expansion paks. Is that correct?
3) Is it necessary to download and use the Jamstix 4 Manager software? I know a lot of software companies are now doing this, but it is an extra step for me that I would rather not bother with. Plus, occasionally these utilities will cause their own problems. If possible, I would prefer to avoid it.
4) Are payments done only thru PayPal and Digital River? Will a credit card work?

Hi E_J,

#2) Yes, Jamstix and all of your Paks will be upgraded for the upgrade price.

#3) Yes, The Manager is the only way to get the updates. It has worked perfectly for me when I've used it and have only seen posts of a very few user claiming issues with it.

#4) That I cannot answer for you. I would suggest sending Ralph a PM and asking if it would be possible to arrange an alternate arrangement.

I just upgraded to Jamstix 4 Ultimate and all I can say is the amount of work and programming That Rayzoon has put into this virtual drummer is undeniably astounding . I am so impressed with the initial trial, and I was so convinced with the metal pak, that this truly is the ultimate drum VST, as the title does state clearly . I’ll have more of a review another time but don’t hesitate to upgrade to the full or ultimate versions, and definitely support this VST company , as it deserves it more Than any other That exists, as far as I know .
