hey

i just downloaded the demo, and i was wandering if there are available mappings for drumkit from hell 1 using battery 2... i'm not talking about DFH2 or DFHS or DFH C&V, i'm talking about plane old DFH

or do i have to make mappings on my own...

You'll have to make your own but it isn't hard to do. Just load Battery 2 into Jamstix, the load the DFH samples into B2. If you arrange things in GM layout then you're essentially done, otherwise just adjust the key for each sound in the Jamstix mapping tab.

Finally click 'Save' in the mapping tab and you're done.
