Does anyone know if it is possible to let Jamstix play with quintuplet swing?
5 beats per bar.
If so, what would be your way of setting this up?
If not possible, I won't have to waste my time looking for a solution.
Thanks! |

| I could write all I know about music theory on the back of a business card but couldn't you do that simply by setting the song part time signature to 5/4 or 5/8? |

I haven’t tried to write quintuplets in JS, but I am not sure if using time signature 5/4 or 5/8 is the way. What freke70 is trying to do is to program rhythmic figures that are derived from a quintuplet. For example, in just one beat you must sing
e-le-fan-ti-to
(spanish way, elefantito, little elephant. Carabinero -our police- works too )
And then you silence or tie some of them. |

| Oh OK, I think it should be possible. Could you provide an example or link to what you are trying to do freke70_? That would help me understand. |

| No problem freke70. I'm going to be busy today but I'll try to check this out tomorrow and see what I can figure out. I already downloaded the files. |

Hey freke70_,
The midi file that you uploaded, do you know what product that is mapped for? It is not mapped for JS. Also the wav file, do you have the stems for that? I didn't have a lot of time today to check this out since they were burying the electric utilities in my neighborhood. |
