I have been a JamStixer since 3, I just love what it can do! Curious whether there is a setting to auto-recompose when live looping is set? With 3 I have to have a track sending a recompose trigger every bar, which I can do again, but would rather have an option and
If(liveloopRC && liveloop)
{
TriggerRC();
}
I'm so excited to see how much better live looping is in 4 than 3 too. I'll be upgrading this weekend! |

There is no auto-recompose function. Is this just a case of getting constant variations as you play? If so, we can see about getting this into the next update. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

You bet!. I would guess that the recompose trigger could go into the same logic branch that restarts the measure count when live looping is toggled on.
For me it's not a huge deal because Ableton allows dummy tracks just for things like this, but it is another track, which means another thread, more context switching, set clutter, etc.
I'll be upgrading anyway, just to get the way livelooping starts in Ableton when you press play that first time. 3 I could convince to work, but 4 just works! |
