| I second this request. I can't get Jamstix output midi to any other drum plugin in Logic Pro. The IAC driver is active and named Jamstix- it shows up in the Logic midi environment mapped to the sequencer input but no there is nothing that shows up in the midi monitor. |

| Do you have "Enable Midi Output" enabled in Jamstix Options>General Options? I'm on PC so I can't help if it's a Mac issue. |

AFAIK, a regular instrument AU doesn't support MIDI OUT in LPX. There is a special 'MIDI FX' format that can output MIDI, but that would require a special AU version of JS, as I understand it.

Any news about MIDI output at Mac OS?
I've been a user of the Jamstix program for 11,5 years.
I support financially all updates.
But, unfortunately, I still can't use it in my operating system.
This is very sad.

I do understand but please let me point out that AUi and Logic are basically the only interface protocol and DAW that do not natively allow MIDI output from instruments. I'd humbly request that you direct your anger towards them.
We are planning to look into a MIDI FX version of Jamstix to satisfy the shortcomings of AUi and Logic but I cannot promise you a timeline on this.
The VSTi interface and the DAWs supporting it have offered simple MIDI output for instruments since 1999(!), that is 20 years. Again, not knocking Apple here but 'thems are the facts'. You could use REAPER today on your Mac and have easy-peasy MIDI routing with Jamstix 4 and VSTi. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
