Hello all wanted to share with you guys what I did. Man I don't own a mic or an electric guitar or an audio interface. I have a WEAK laptop with a built in web cam that has a condenser mic. I recorded everything (minus the drums obviously cuz thats the stixx!!) by either singing to the computer or playing my acoustic guitar close to it. I then just added distortion to the acoustic guitar tracks (which surprisingly turned out ok) I did it all in Studio One 4 which so far i've had minimal issues with Jamstix in it.

Well heres the soundcloud link. Any criticism would be welcome (good or bad)

Can't believe this was all recorded just via a laptop mic! Great job!

Your guitar chords had some interesting twists to them, same for the vocal melody and harmonization.

How did you do the bass? Detuned E string on your guitar?

Hey thanks for listening to the song and thanks for an amazing product. I did the bass with Presence XT in Studio One... I find that using the EQ provided in Presence XT and a little modulation you can get some decent sounds.

Yes, good job, considering the recording conditions.

Maybe you are destining your recording budget in hiring Johny Rotten for the vocals Very Happy Very Happy
