G'day fellow jammers,
Does anyone know how to import a MIDI file while maintaining a swung feel? I know I can turn off quantize but that severely limits what you can do to a groove.
For that matter, is there an easy way to turn a straight groove into a shuffle?
Thanks for reading!

From asking a similar question I learned that it was better to import a 'straight' groove and let Jamstix shuffle it vs. trying to set the groove up exactly as you want it and turning quantization off. Info about swing/shuffle is all in the user manual. |
