I'm looking at picking up the M-Audio Trigger Finger and tapping in some drum sounds for my tunes. Do I need a separate drum sampler/soft synth to do that, or can I route through Jamstix using its drum samples?

Thanks,

Matt

You can use Jamstix for that. Just use 'Manual Jam' with 'Play Input' and 'Mute Brain' checked. Jamstix will now play drum notes received at its MIDI input like any other drum sampler.
