|
|
I've tried setting midi input mapping to Addivtive drums 2, JS will not let me set midi output mapping to Addictive drums 2. it just stays on EZD2 modern...not that I know how these should be set anyway
I used the learn function in Addictive drums which works fine for all thr kit except the hi hat. If I click on the hi hat in JS it plays in Addictive drums but If I play the project the drums play fine but the Hi hat doesn't play...
anyone using Addictive drums out there can help me please?
best, Kevin |

When you select the MIDI output mapping, after you click 'Addictive Drums 2' in the left list, you must select the desired AD2 mapping in the right list. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Which mapping exactly do you select on the right side of the load dialog? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

I'm not sure what you mean now..I've just been selecting Addictive drums 2...
add missing pieces is ticked
remove unmapped pieces is ticked...
force midi output only is ticked... |

OH..ok..wasn't clicking on them, so I've just clicked on basic tom and everything works except the hi hat in JS does not play the hi hat in Addictive drums, is there a way to correct this?
cheers, Kevin |

Please check in AD2 that note #49 is set to 'Hihat Closed1 Tip'. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Go to the kit editor in JS4, click the hihat and then go through the articulations (25%,50% etc.) and for each make sure that the AD2 note number is the same. If you click on the MIDI key for each articulation, it will show you the actual numeric note number which is easier to compare to AD2. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

What is shown as 'Map Preset' in the top/left corner of the mapping dialog in AD2? _________________ Ralph Zeuner

That's a bit weird as that is the preset our mapping is made for. Please change it to something else and then change it back to 'AD2 Standard' and see if the hats are working fine then. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
