New Jamstix user here. I've figured out how to create a custom style by importing a MIDI pattern with the groove I want to use throughout the song. Then I let Jamstix compose fills and other variations.
The problem is Jamstix seems to be moving the kick around or adding extra kicks during regular verse measures. These throw off the whole feel of groove. How can I keep the kick exactly where I want it without interfering with Jamstix ability to vary the other parts? Thanks. |

Please try 'Machine' and tell me if it still happens then. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

No, I didn't hear the kick variations with 'Machine' and didn't hear them when I switched back to 'Mel' either. Between the time of my original post and now, I tinkered with different settings. Unfortunately, I can't say exactly what I did. In any case, I can no longer reproduce the problem.
I'm still exploring the many features of this software, so my problem may have been caused by user error all along. Thanks for taking the time to reply. |
