So I went to start making some midi maps for various Kontakt instruments (in style of NI West Africa mapping)

But I've realised I've no clue what's going on.

For example... The groove page has UI for "Drum X Med" and "Drum X Rim" but the Kit (Darbuka) has no sound loaded or midi out for Med or Rim articulations?

If I remove all the "Not a Darbuka" elements from the kit and remove the 2nd Darbuka, I'm left with a single midi note output. So a single note number and velocity covers the entirety of Darbuka playing?

A single Darbuka instrument in NI Middle East has 2 dozen articulations (not including patterns/rolls/fills) so I don't think my plan is going to work! lol.

The JC Africa kit makes more sense (it actually has articulations) which might explain why it already has a NI West Africa mapping.

Is my installation broken or are the Middle East kits unfinished or something?

If I (manually!) create an ME Kit in JS/JC that has midi outs for the articulations will they get used by the ME styles?

But why oh why do the ME styles have articulations that don't exist in the ME kits?!?
