Jamstix 4.3.1 64bit- fails to load in Reaper 5.978 64bit

I have this intermittent loading issue.
I have a Reaper project with jamstix. When I open the project and click on the vsti fx to show jamstix it shows a black UI and the text "jamstix is loading."

No matter how long I wait it doesn't load.

If I remove jamstix as a vsti; I am able to load another instance of jamstix with no problem.

I've experimented with the 32 bit and different Reaper processes such as 'dedicated' and 'separate.'

Also, I ran he manager tool again and ensured the different dll file were in the correct place.

If I close the project and reopen it, I find sometimes that jamstix has loaded, and the UI can be viewed, however, the kit that was previously saved has not loaded, nor has the song which existed previously.

Please use 'Email Tech Support' in the Jamstix help menu to send me the logs so I can check this out.

fulvia,

Try adding the line AutoCloseWaitTime=0 to the [General] section of your jamstix.ini file and see if that corrects the problem.

Sorted - Ralph's suggestion check 'Dedicated Process/Server Mode' appears to have done the trick Very Happy
