I don't see a separate area for feature requests, but here goes...
Suppose you have an arrangement that you like, but you want to add some embellishment on a certain bar,
but not lose what you have, so far...
Edit: a_zimuth, in the posts below, explains that this can already be done...

You can also already do that with Fills using the Quick Fill Slots in the Bar menu.
Why not just drag multiple versions to tracks in your DAW? Then comp what you like there. |

Yeah, I'll just create some extra midi tracks in my DAW, and build up lots of loops.
But what are "Quick Fill Slots" ? There's the timeline, and the bar editor. And I use the "Recompose" button a lot to create variations of a beat.
But where are the Quick Fill Slots? Are these something different than the bar editor?
I'm on a tablet, away from my computer at the moment, but maybe this will be more
obvious when I'm back at my computer. Sounds like I might have just requested something that already exists! If so, oops! |

| The Quick Fill Slots is explained on pg. 45 of the user manual in the 2nd paragraph. |

Ah ha...There it is! I had actually gone back through manual, but I missed that. So, the feature
that I asked for in fact already exists! , however...
Thanks for the pointer! I just tested it out, and it's exactly what I had in mind. This is a great feature,
and it looks like you get 5 slots per bar, too. You should give this a mention somewhere on the main website.
Note to others: These slots are not saved when you close your DAW- so remember to save the takes that you want to keep.
Thanks again a_zimuth for pointing me in the right direction. |
