|
|
Hi
I have tried to ascertain if there is any control over the first beat of some bars where a cell in the Bar Editor is highlighted in yellow and a cymbal hit *always* occurs.
I am using the TrainBeat style.
If I double click on the cell, the snare disappears, or is replaced by a hi-hat, but the cell remains solid yellow, and the cymbal or hi-hat keeps playing.
Is this an artifact associated with a style or limb algorithm?
Is there any way of turning off the cymbal/hi-hat hit on these yellow cells?
I've scoured the manual, but no joy. If it's in there, plse. advise.
Regards

The yellow block means it is generated by the “end fill with crash” checkbox. _________________ Core i7 4712QM, 16GB, Cubase 9 Pro on Windows 10. Scarlett 2i2. M-Audio Axiom Pro 61. Komplete 8. Jamstix 3.6. Absolute 3 VST. 418 Carrier Landings.

A note concerning this feature will be added to the bar editor section in the manual for the next update. _________________ Ralph Zeuner

Hey Ralph, speaking of the manual.... quick question.
In v4.0.0 of the manual, it has what I guess are called 'bookmarks,' or at least what my PDF viewer calls bookmarks. What it looks like to me is a table of contents that's always visible (by choice) on the left side of the screen while you look at whatever section of the manual you want to look at. Clicking on a section in the bookmarks takes you right to that section in the manual.
Every version of the manual I've had since 4.2.0 doesn't have the bookmarks. You have to manually go back to the table of contents to find the section you want to read about (and then click on it and it'll take you there).
I have no idea what's involved in making the bookmarks feature available, but if it's a minor thing could you include them in the next manual update? |

Sure thing, easy to do. If you're using Beta 3, please run your manager now to update and you should see a new manual with the bookmarks present. _________________ Ralph Zeuner
