What if I want to edit a 4 bar part by editing bar 1 - all manual. Is this possible?
Or do we have to copy/paste bars? |

Yes you can do either.
Copy/paste:
1) Right click the bar in the timeline you want to copy Edit>Copy Bar.
2) Right click the bar in the timeline you want to paste Edit>Paste Bar.
Manually edit and repeat in multiple Bars:
1) Right click the timeline. Edit>Auto-Lock Manually Created Events checked.
2) Right click the Bar. Edit>Clear All Notes. (Thanks Jason)
3) Now add whatever you want to the Bar.
4) Right click the edited Bar Edit>Copy Bar.
5) Right click the 1st bar you want the edited Bar Edit>Paste Bar. In the window that opens, enter the number of Bars you want to reflect the edited Bar or enter "0" to paste through to the end of the Song Part.
Edited to clear up my misunderstanding of the original question. Thanks again Jason

If you look in your video where you add the 4 kicks is a Core Bar, indicated by the C1 label below the timeline. The Bar that the kicks also appear in is a Repetition Bar as indicated by R1. Whatever you add to the Core Bar will also be reflected in all linked Repetition bars. And thanks for jogging my memory about the Clear All Notes and Paste menu choice. I can't keep track of them all anymore.LOL
